Our paintings aim to bring the beauty of Michigan to you

Many of our paintings feature Michigan attractions and landmarks. That's because our artists, Phyllis Bos and Emilia Ackerman, were born and raised in Michigan and love to showcase the state’s beauty and most noteworthy destinations. One of our goals at Watercolor Notes is to spread Michigan’s beauty to the rest of the country. Some of our favorite spots to visit are Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Mackinac Island, and McGulpin Point Lighthouse.
